Australia was in Hog heaven last month when Harley Davidson brought its unique marriage of style and nostalgia to Williamstown, Victoria for a weekend long celebration in an event that only comes along every 110 years.
Part of a year long anniversary celebration bringing together Harley-Davidson fans united by a common bond and shared passion for freedom, self-expression and epic adventure.
Williamstown put on a party to end all parties with something for everyone in the Harley family including live music from Jimmy Barnes, stunts and of course plenty of bikes in a celebration of Harley history and attitude.
We were there on the ground and in the air capturing all the excitement with presenter Jabba 2 camera crews and a helicopter fitted with a Cineflex Rig and operator to capture some aerial shots of the 2000 bike strong Thunder Run. Video Coming soon.
We’ve just wrapped on the The MINI Paceman Art Series which sees five different artists interpret the ‘Paceman’ in four original pieces. Each week, a new artwork will be featured on a 15 metre outdoor billboard on George Street, Sydney. Simultaneously, a 2 minute MINI-Film profiling each artist and the creation of their work will play on-air and online.

Spring has definitely sprung for us in that we’re shaping up to be very busy over the coming weeks.
Last week we shot an MFA reel for MCN and a promo for Balance Moves gym in Bondi. This week we’ve got our ongoing post production from the ‘Accountability In Ad Spend’ conference, a promo for The Sound Campaign and a 2 day shoot for the Migration Institute of Australia.
Looking ahead we’ve got shoots coming up for EB Games, Roxby Media, The Sound Campaign and in late October a shoot in NYC for a top secret project we’re developing called ‘The Box’.
We’ll be revealing more about that one in the coming weeks!
We’re very proud to have recently been Silver Sponsors for the Audit Bureaux of Australia’s Accountability In Ad Spend Conference in late August.
The conference brought together advertisers, publishers, marketing brand managers and media buyers to hear real insights and experiences in media buying, selling and publishing, with a twist of accountability.
The conference was designed to deliver highly-relevant topics presented by high-profile speakers into an impactful half day event with lunchtime free for networking.
The impressive list of speakers included News Limited’s Kim Williams, John Sintras from Starcom, Mumbrella’s Tim Burrowes among many others. For a full list check out the link http://www.auditbureau.org.au/resources/member-conference/speakers
Dan Sharp Productions were on the ground on the day filming the event and we’re currently putting together some exciting content packages from the day to be published by The Audit Bureaux soon.
We’ll keep you updated

Back in the pre-CGI era, movie magic wasn’t drag-and-drop. Here are the best examples of ground-breaking or extraordinary examples of the matte painting technique in movies.

Looking forward to getting my hands on one of these cameras. Seem to be a lot of compromises at the moment (the main one being small sensor) but hopefully the next model will have a super 35mm sensor. With that and some firmware updates the sky’s the limit!
Great short from Red Giant to promote Magic Bullet Suite 11. Shot on Canon DSLR’s and edited using Magic Bullet Suite 11. Budget was next to nothing and it looks awesome. Very inspiring.
